Department of Computer Science and Engineering has conducted Expert Talk on Practical Applications of Pointers in C on 07th FEB 2024 at University Seminar Hall. As part of expert talk we have invited Shri. Naveen Immadi, Scientist-D, NIELIT. The expert has addressed staff and students of B.Tech CSE, CSE(AIML), CSE(DS), BCA.
The objective of the talk was to explore the practical applications of pointers in C is to understand their versatile utility in optimizing memory usage, enhancing data structure manipulation, and enabling efficient programming paradigms. By delving into real-world examples, such as dynamic memory allocation, array manipulation, and implementation of complex data structures like linked lists and trees, programmers can grasp the fundamental role pointers play in low-level memory management
